We have simple pricing for driving lessons

Same price for day, evening and weekend, refresher and motorway lessons — £40 per hour.

Instructor car for the driving test

£120 — includes travel time to and from the test centre, 1–1.5h warm-up lesson, and insurance cover for the test.

Assessment before booking car for test

Booking the car for the test is subject to an initial assessment lesson and agreement of readiness for the test.

Initial assessment price: £60 for a 1-hour lesson.

Important booking policy

• We do not accept lesson bookings for learners that have a test already booked in less than 4 weeks from the date of the first lesson.
• This ensures time for a thorough assessment, further lessons if needed, or postponing the test before the DVSA’s 10 working day deadline to avoid losing the test fee.
• Instructor’s duty of care: the car for your test will only be allowed if you are assessed as safe and ready.
• No car provided for test without prior assessment and structured learning.
• Lesson bookings without 4 clear weeks before a test will be cancelled and refunded.

We strongly recommend two-hour lessons

A 2-hour driving lesson is often the most efficient for both learning and preparation. Here’s why:
